About
We believe in sustainability for the benefit of all life on this planet. Therefore all of our materials are sourced from local growers, farmers, and beekeepers. When you purchase local flowers, you ensure that the blooms have not been cut early to ship hundreds or thousands of miles away, depriving the bees of their food source. When you purchase products made from local beeswax, you are supporting the protection and stewardship of your local land and ecosystem. A purchase from Apiana Blooms directly supports small, sustainable Utah agriculture and ecological protection efforts.

• Trim the wick to ~1/4 inch before each burn
• Trim the wick with a wick trimmer
• Always light at the base of the trimmed wick
• Burn candles in a room free from drafts to prevent uneven burning and irregular flame
• Burn pillar candles for 1 hour per diameter each time; eg, a 3-inch candle should be burned for 3 hours at a time
• For more even burning: gently press in edges of the pillar candle after the flame is extinguished while the candle is still warm
• To extinguish candles and prevent smoke: dunk wick in the wax pool and then straighten
• You may see a frosty white appearance on the candle known as "blooming", a natural process unique to beeswax signifying a pure beeswax candle. It can be wiped off with hands or a cloth.
